Welcome to the Boston Young Marines

We are the Boston Young Marines, located in Burlington, MA and are proud to be a part of our nation’s premiere, award-winning program for boys and girls between the ages of eight and eighteen.

The Young Marines promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle, and we rely heavily upon
teaching and instilling the values of Discipline, Teamwork, and Leadership in
young people participating in our program. Our goal is to set a positive example, instruct and
inspire, and develop leadership skills in our Young Marines.

Upon completion of recruit training, Young Marines participate in drug demand reduction training, community service projects and many fun and exciting activities that lead to increased self-confidence.

As is implied by the name Young Marines, physical fitness, general military subjects, and knowledge of Marine Corps customs and traditions are instilled in the young people who chose to join our unit.

Like many youth programs, we rely on adult volunteers to assist the unit staff in developing and executing the training and activities that will lead to increased opportunities for our Young Marines. Prior military service is not a requirement to serve as a Registered Adult (RA).

If you are, or know of a young person who would benefit from this program, the first step to becoming one of us is getting the information. Please contact us to get involved or to learn more. You'll be glad you did.
