We won the Division 4 Kiki Camarena Award for our Red Ribbon efforts in our community- 1st place in 2022, 3rd place in 2021, 2nd place award in 2019, and the 1st place in 2018.
We are proud to be a part of the Young Marines, our nation’s premiere, award-winning program for boys and girls age eight to graduation from high school.
The Young Marines promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle, and we rely heavily upon teaching and instilling the values of Discipline, Teamwork, and Leadership to youths participating in our program. Our goal is to set a positive example to instruct and inspire and develop leadership skills in our youths.
New members go through recruit training to learn marching, military history, Young Marines history and so much more! Young Marines take part in numerous activities in our area and sometimes in combination with other units.
These activites include community service, Veterans ceremonies, color guards, parades, encampments, team-building activities and field trips to visit local sites of interest. Other activities include clear instruction about the dangers of drug abuse and helpful instruction on how to deal with peer pressure and other issues vital to our youth and America’s future.
It all begins when you contact us to request more information
about our next recruit class:
Email Commander or Email or optional email
We are also looking for Adult Volunteers who want to make a difference in a young persons life.
