To become a Young Marine, all youth members must complete Recruit Training. This training teaches the basics of what it means to be a Young Marine. Recruits will learn:
- Teamwork, Leadership, and Discipline
- Close Order Drill
- Military Terms and Jargon
- Marine Corps Enlisted Rank Structure
- Uniform Care and Maintenance
- Physical Fitness
- Military Customs and Courtesies
- ... and more!
Things You Need to Know:
- Youth must be at least 8 years old and not yet graduated from high school.
- A parent/guardian and all registering youth must attend Orientation.
Required Documents:
- Birth Certificate and Social Security Card (verification only)
- Immunization Record
- Recent Physical or School Sports Physical (within 1 year)
- Medical Insurance Card (front and back)
Recruit Registration Fee – $250

Become an Adult Volunteer
Volunteers must be 18+, hold a high school diploma or GED, and pass a background check with references. Volunteers help lead, support, and grow the next generation of Young Marines.
